UT or UR (To my parents)

Okay... now UT or UR...

The point is that my parents' points are very reasonable. Rochester is cold, I may not get good grades there, and there is a financial aid problem.
But I personally still want to go to UR. I am sure I won't get all As there, but it will be same in UT. I am 100% sure that I won't get all As even in UT. I can handle the weather problem since UR is where I want to go. I would catch up cold a lot, but catching up cold has not caused any bad results on tests yet.
Maybe I just want more challenges in college. It is similar as the reason that I tried to take science AP classes despite of difficulties. I couldn't get 5 in Biology and Chemistry in AP exams (I end up getting 4). I sometimes cried over several bad test scores. However, overall, I enjoyed taking those classes because I loved to study with my smart friends and classmates and compete with them. I know that studying at college is much harder than doing at high school. Yes, I really want to go to a good graduate school. But I would rather have a hard experience before the good graduate school because I may not follow harder education in the graduate. I am very eager to learn. If studying at UR can't help to build up my English skills for GRE, I would study hard during summer and even during breaks. SAT was quite different. I had only 2 years for studying it when my English wasn't good enough. And I even didn't know I would have to take the test until the Sophomore year. But this time, it's different. I know that I should take GRE, which is similar to SAT, and that I have 4 years for preparation. During college, I will write lots of papers for projects, and that can help me to foster my English even more. At least, since I learned something from AP classes I can possibly follow classes.

I feel bad that I can't always fully express my thoughts by speaking. Dad.. mom.. I wish you can understand the reasons that I really wish to choose UR. I am sorry that it isn't written in Korean. And I am sorry that I always sound like I don't respect your opinions. Honestly, I truly understand why you want to me to go to UT. But this is bit different with the Baylor High school problem. You always say that you are proud of me. In fact, I could not believe it at the first time. But I do now. Maybe, this is an opportunity me to become your stronger daughter.

College admissions...

Yeah, so far I've gotten only two acceptances(University of Rochester, and UTK) out of ten schools that I applied. I am still waiting for Emory and UVa though.

I got rejected from UNC, Vanderbilt, Tufts, Berkeley, and UCLA.

And got waitlisted in Lehigh.


.... ;____; This is sooooooo depressing..... Aaaaaahaaah.... Colleges hate me....

Edit: I got rejected in both emory and UVa..,...

and everything is getting worse and worse...

Spring Break

Spring Break is quite boring. This may sound weird but I want to go back to school.
I seriously want to go back to my classes except English one...

I got an admission from University of Rochester. Now 7 more colleges...


I heard about this video yesterday. which is called, "Ask a Ninja : Ninja Poetry." lol I found it very funny.

Admission so far...

I got an admission from UT with scholarship.
However, I just got a rejection letter from UNC....

I am not sure if I am going to get in Vandy... (probably I will not)

Midterms

Three midterms to go!!! Ganbare!!!!

yeah I just woke up 30 minutes ago.. This week has been another busy week for me. Instead, I don't have much stuff to do during this weekends.

Woot for 300! I can't wait until tomorrow! 8D

so..about Prom stuff... I found out I dont' have to shop for prom dress or shoes. lol My mom is already searching for good ones for me. (Woot!) The good thing is that my mom and I have similar taste of dress preference. In fact, she's better than I am.
Oh, many people were curious about who my prom date is.. I am sure most of seniors in our school know.

I wasn't thinking of going there this year until he asked.
